大约20年前，我第一次访问中国，此后，我几乎每年都会来。中国一直处于快速的变革之中，而图书行业也发生了重要变化。整个亚洲地区正变得越来越自信，并且纷纷制定了具有自主知识产权的图书产品的生产和出口策略，这令西方出版商为之振奋。变革之中，最重要的是要有可靠的合作伙伴。中国出版集团是中国图书出版业的佼佼者，是我们可靠的合作伙伴之一。

法兰克福书展始终高度重视中国和亚洲市场：去年第三次在北京举行的故事驱动（StoryDrive）亚洲会议已经成为该地区跨媒体和跨媒体叙事领域最重要的会议。作为故事驱动（StoryDrive）亚洲会议的唯一战略合作伙伴，中国出版集团为会议的成功举办发挥了重要作用。中国出版集团下属的《中国图书商报》是中国领先的出版媒体，我们已经与其进行了10余年卓有成效的战略合作。我们还与中国出版集团下属的一些主要的出版社也保持着密切合作，尤其是人民文学出版社和三联书店。

在即将到来的法兰克福书展上，所有亚洲国家将首次以团体的形式在展区正中心位置的4号展厅亮相。这种发展的主要潜在因素是世界对亚洲地区的巨大兴趣，以及亚洲企业之间快速增长的贸易。

我相信在未来10年，我们将见证中国和世界之间更多的交流和来往。中国出版集团等大型国际化企业将大力推动这一发展趋势。

Around 20 years ago, Ivisited China for the first time; since then, I have been coming back almostevery year. China has been going through some very transformative years and thebook industry has been experiencing important changes, too. The Asian region asa whole is becoming increasingly self-confident, developing strategies for theproduction and export of its own intellectual property – an exciting prospect forWestern publishers. But in times of change, it is important to have reliablepartners at your side. The China Publishing Group - as a key and outstandingplayer in the Chinese book industry - has been one of those partners.  

Frankfurt Book Fair hasalways had strong commitments in China and in Asia: The StoryDrive Asiaconference, which was held for the third time in Beijing last year and hasalready become the most important meeting place in the region for cross-mediaand transmedia storytelling, is just one of those examples. China PublishingGroup as the sole strategic partner of the StoryDrive Asia conference hasplayed an important role in its success. CPG’s China Publishing and MediaJournal is the leading publishing media in China, with which we have enjoyedover 10 years of fruitful strategic partnership. We work closely with a numberof major publishing houses of the group, notably the People’s Literature Publishing Houseand SDX Joint Publishing Company.

At the forthcoming FrankfurtBook Fair, all the Asian countries will be – for the first time - highlyvisible and presented as a group in Hall 4, right in the centre of theexhibition area. The main underlying factor in this development has been thegreat interest shown in the Asian region around the world, as well as thefast-growing business between Asian companies.

I am sure that in the next 10years we will witness more intensive exchange between China and the world.Large and internationally orientated corporations like the China PublishingGroup will considerably shape this development.
