中国出版集团（CPG）是中国最大、最有影响力的出版集团公司。剑桥大学出版社（CUP）则是世界上最古老的媒体组织，以及最大的学术和教育出版商之一。剑桥大学出版社与中国出版集团的合作伙伴关系可以追溯到许多年前，当时中国出版集团出版了剑桥大学出版社的学术著作译本，这项合作一直持续到今天。从那时起，两个组织之间的合作不断扩大。

2013年，剑桥大学出版社与中国出版集团下属的三联书店签署了一项协议，以合作翻译和出版英文版《天朝的崩溃》，作为“剑桥中国文库”英语丛书之一。这套著名的系列丛书旨在向西方读者推介中国学者的重要著作。最近，中国出版集团推出了“中国现代文学和学术经典丛书”（MCLSC），包括当代中国文学作品以及现代和当代中国的学术经典。剑桥大学出版社很高兴和中国出版集团合作翻译、出版“中国现代文学和学术经典丛书”中的优秀作品，以充实“剑桥中国文库”。剑桥大学出版社和中国出版集团愿意在促进英中两国学术交流和相互理解方面发挥更大的作用。

我们和中国出版集团下属的中国图书进出口（集团）总公司（CNPIEC）一直保持着长期合作关系，他们负责在中国推广和销售我们的学术出版物。中国图书进出口（集团）总公司在中国开展的营销工作对于我们而言至关重要。目前，我们的合作范围已经从单纯的纸质图书发展到电子杂志和电子书。2013年，我们成为和中图易阅通CNPeReading（中国图书进出口总公司的电子书平台）合作的第一批出版商，并迅速增加了我们出版社在平台上的内容发布。剑桥大学出版社还和中国图书进出口总公司合作出版教育图书，联合访问中国各地的众多学校，为它们提供书籍赠阅、培训、数字资源和其他服务。

作为剑桥大学的一份子，我们出版社的使命是促进知识、学习和研究在世界范围内的传播。和中国出版集团的长期合作帮助我们在中国实现了这一使命，我们期待在未来继续开展更多富有成效的合作。

China Publishing Group (CPG) is one of the largest and most influential publishing groups in China.

Cambridge University Press (CUP) is the world’s oldest media organization and one of the largestacademic and educational publishers in the world.  Cambridge’s partnership with CPG dates backmany years, with CPG publishing translations of selected Cambridge academic works, whichcontinues to this day.  Since those early days, the cooperation between our two organisations hasgrown and broadened.

In 2013, Cambridge signed an agreement with one of CPG’s publishers, SDX Joint PublishingCompany, to translate and publish The Collapse of the Celestial Empire in English as part of ourprestigious Cambridge China Library which aims to make key works of Chinese scholarship morewidely available in the West.  More recently CPG launched the book series Modern Chinese Literaryand Scholarly Classics (MCLSC), which includes contemporary Chinese literary works and scholarlyclassics on modern and contemporary China. We at Cambridge are delighted to collaborate with CPGon producing and publishing English-language translations of selected titles from the MCLSC seriesas part of the Cambridge China Library. Both Cambridge and CPG are delighted to play our mutualpart in better scholarly communication and understanding between the UK and China.

We have been long-term partners with CPG’s China National Publications Import & ExportCorporation (CNPIEC), which promotes and sells our academic publications in China. CNPIEC’s salesand marketing reach across China has been crucial to us.  That has developed from focusing purelyon print to newer ventures in e-journals and eBooks.  In 2013, we became one of the first publisherswith content on CNPeReading, CNPIEC’s own eBook hosting platform, and have been growing ourcontent on the platform rapidly ever since. Cambridge also works closely with CNPIEC on educationbooks, frequently visit schools together to offer books, training, digital resources, and services tomany schools across China.

As part of the University of Cambridge, the Press’s mission is to advance knowledge, learning andresearch worldwide.  Our long-term cooperation with CPG has helped us to do just that together inChina and we look forward to continuing our fruitful partnership in the future.
